2027 LEAGUE OVERVIEW

— Who Can Play?
Muslim youth participate through an OMSA member masjid and represent their masjid throughout the season.

— Masjid Teams
Each participating masjid forms its own team to compete in the OMSA Basketball League.

— Player Tryouts
Each masjid holds open tryouts to select players who will represent its team for the upcoming season.

— Team Practices
Selected players participate in regular team practices to develop their skills, teamwork and preparation for league games.

— League Games
Teams compete against other participating masjids throughout the OMSA basketball season.

— More Than Basketball
The league is designed to develop athletic ability, discipline, teamwork, sportsmanship and stronger connections between Muslim youth and their masjids.
YOUR PATH TO THE COURT
1 — Find Your Masjid Team
Players participate through an OMSA member masjid. Find a participating masjid in your community and stay connected for team announcements.
2 — Attend Open Tryouts
Each masjid holds tryouts to select players who will represent its team in the upcoming OMSA season.
3 — Make the Team & Compete
Selected players join their masjid team, attend practices and represent their community throughout the OMSA league season.
